During the summer they offer tours of the dam. Make sure to bring quarters to feed the fish.
The visitor's center is small, and access to the dam is pretty restricted, but there are some nice views and plenty of picnic tables looking out over the water. However, don't miss the amazing 5-star scenery and wildlife throughout the area!
Well done with photos all around and a free tour that takes you to the bottom of the dam. Great place.
Great scenery, helpful staff, and free tours. What else could you want? The damn is pretty impressive and you can drive down to the bottom and get up really close to it.
I only gave it three stars because it was closed when we were there. Even the restrooms were closed and there were quite a few people there even a security guard wondering around. So I don't see why they had to be locked. But with that being said I've been a few times before during the summer and it's great.. You must make time for the Dam Tour it's worth it.
