We visited Aug 4th-7th 2016 the lake was beautiful and the ramp was convenient, however the campground was really disappointing. We don't have a bathroom in our camper so we had to use the ones at antelope flat. They were so disgusting. There were dead bugs everywhere. the trash hadn't been taken out in at least a week or two. The toilets we disgusting. I had to prop the door open with the trash can just so i could stand the smell going in. I would not go back to this campground unless there were some major changes made to the maintenance of the facilities there.
4 miles down a gravel road. No hookups. $16 per night rv. 40' max length. Quiet. Nice view of the lake. Boat ramp. Great fishing. Gravel camp sites. Dump station.
The camp ground itself is ok but the pictures you see here on the site are not completely true. There are two different camp grounds. One must be for "elite" people and the other is where you could get to go too. The nicer one is near the lake with the covered tables and has clean restrooms- it has a big sign that says reservations only. However if you make reservations on line or call you get reserved notes put on the camp spots in the other camp ground. This camp ground is away from the lake and there is one picture of the sites on here - the picture with the sage brush and the table with an awning. That is where you will stay unless you know how to get into the reserved camp ground closer to the lake. Now let's talk about the bathrooms: filthy. There is a sign on the wall where the worker signs off every day that they have been cleaned. I am guessing the floor hasn't been swept in at least one month. The sink is clogged and has layers of brown stuff on it. Dead bugs and cobwebs everywhere and yellow toilets. But it was cleaned yesterday according to the sign. I don't think so. And we pay 18.00 per night. Not too impressed.
Great views. Not crowded at all. High desert. Entry road will shake anything not tied down to pieces.
We stayed for one night in September. Loved it!! Thought the site was closer to the water when we booked it but it was still beautiful. Antelope were right next to us in an empty site when we arrived around 6pm. A lot of rabbits. Amazing sunset and sunrise!!!
